eTwinning Day at Leader School: Together Against Bullying with Sona Poghosyan!
May 10, 2025 brought a truly special day at Leader School – our grade 5 students actively participated in eTwinning Day dedicated to a vital anti-bullying project. This event is part of a large-scale initiative led by our wonderful homeroom teacher Sona Poghosyan, who participates with great love and enthusiasm in a prestigious American competition focused on this issue. We wholeheartedly support her efforts to create a safe and friendly environment for every child at Leader School.
Right after the busy Europe Day, grade 5 students gathered in their classroom to continue work on this important project. They didn’t just discuss bullying problems but showed creativity by creating powerful visual messages. Each student proudly drew “eTwinning” on their hand, symbolizing unity and solidarity in fighting harassment. These drawings became the central element of a short but very sincere video that children filmed themselves to share their position with a wide audience.
We deeply believe that such events not only raise awareness about bullying but also teach children empathy, responsibility and willingness to support each other. Sona Poghosyan’s project exemplifies how Leader School lovingly approaches children’s leisure organization, turning it into opportunities for meaningful learning and personal growth. We are proud of our students and homeroom teacher for their active stance and contribution to creating a bullying-free school!
