Victory Day at Leader School: Remembering the Heroes of Armenia!

May 9, 2025 brought a touching and meaningful celebration at Azarian Leader School for Armenia’s Patriotism Day and the Great Victory. Grade 6 and 9 students gathered school-wide to honor those who fought for peace overhead. We preserve historical memory and raise true patriotism in children with special care, ensuring strong and prosperous future for our Homeland.

Before May holidays, traditionally Armenia’s «triple triumph», teachers F. Ogusyan and T. Mushegyan led a «Courage Lesson.» Students viewed educational materials about Victory Day and World War II events, while teachers shared historical facts and inspiring heroism stories. These lessons expanded knowledge and moved hearts, awakening pride for their people.

Students then organized their own excursion to military-historical museum «Mother Armenia» with homeroom teachers K. Beknazarian, K. Marutyan, and Deputy Director L. Maviyan. They viewed photographs and personal items, heard guide stories about Armenian marshals, generals, soldiers and liberators who contributed greatly to both the Great Patriotic War and Artsakh liberation war. This deep historical immersion helped students understand sacrifice scale and each hero’s significance.
